This QR Code Generator turns any link, text, WiFi login or contact card into a scannable code — and lets you design it. Choose the module shape (square, rounded, dots or classy), style the three corner eyes independently, set foreground and background colours or a gradient, and drop your logo in the centre. Everything renders live and exports as a crisp SVG for print or a high-resolution PNG for screens.
The code is built entirely in your browser with a from-scratch QR encoder (byte mode, error-correction levels L–H, automatic version sizing) — nothing you enter is uploaded, and there is no link shortener in between, so the code never expires and no scan is tracked. No. The data is encoded directly into the pattern — there is no short link or redirect service in the middle, so nothing can expire and no scan is ever logged. A QR code generated here works offline, forever, as long as its target exists. That also means the code is generated entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Yes — that is exactly why QR codes have error correction. This tool automatically raises the correction level when you add a logo, so up to ~30% of the pattern can be covered and still scan. Keep the logo under about a quarter of the width and leave the default padding around it, and every reader will still decode it.
Only the visual shape of the modules changes, never their position or meaning, so rounded, dotted and classy styles scan identically to plain squares on every conformant reader. The three position markers (the big squares in the corners, called the "eyes") can be styled separately for a more branded look.
SVG for anything printed or resized: it stays razor-sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster, and the file is tiny. PNG for quick use in apps, slides or social posts that expect a raster image. Both are exported at the exact colors and style you see in the preview.
It sets how much of the code is redundant, so it still reads when dirty, printed small or partly covered. L recovers ~7%, M ~15% (the balanced default), Q ~25%, H ~30%. Higher levels make the pattern denser but more robust — use Q or H for print, packaging or when you add a logo; L or M is fine for a clean on-screen link.
This generator supports up to roughly 270 characters of text or a URL, which covers virtually every real use — links, WiFi logins, contact cards, plain text. If you paste more than fits at the chosen correction level, the tool tells you immediately so you can shorten the text or lower the level.
