About the VAT Calculator (MwSt)
The VAT Calculator converts between net and gross both ways: add VAT to a net price or extract the contained VAT from a gross amount — with German 19% and 7% presets plus any custom rate for other countries.
Divide by (1 + rate): 119 € gross at 19% = 119 ÷ 1.19 = 100 € net — the contained VAT is not simply 19% of the gross.
