Type the name and pick your business from the list — or paste the share link from the Google Maps app, any google.com/maps address, a Place ID or an existing g.page link. Try an example
Where do I find my Google Maps link?
- On your phone: search for the business in the Google Maps app, open the listing, tap Share and then Copy link.
- On a computer: open google.com/maps, search for the business, click the listing and copy the address from the browser's address bar.
- Paste it above — the short link from the app is fine, the tool expands it.
About the Google Review Link Generator
The Google Review Link Generator turns a Google Maps listing into a link that opens the “Write a review” form directly — one tap for your customers instead of searching for your business, finding the reviews tab and the right button. Paste the share link from the Google Maps app (maps.app.goo.gl), any google.com/maps address, a Place ID or an existing g.page link.
From the listing's public identifiers the tool calculates the g.page short link, the classic Place ID link and the matching Google Maps links, and draws a QR code to download as PNG or SVG. For counters, tables and receipts, turn it into a printable card with the Review QR Code & Card Maker; for messages, use the review request templates.
The g.page/r/…/review short link is the most reliable: it opens the review form directly on phones and computers, and it is the format Google itself hands out in the Business Profile. The classic search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=… link still works for many listings, but Google does not document it and sometimes it opens the listing instead of the form — keep it as a fallback.
Yes. Every listing carries public identifiers in its Google Maps link — the Feature ID and the customer ID (CID). The review link is calculated from them, so you can create it for any business, for example as an agency for a client. Owners can also copy the official link at business.google.com under “Read reviews” → “Get more reviews”.
maps.app.goo.gl links are redirects. This tool follows the redirect on the server, reads the long Maps address it points to and takes the identifiers from there — without loading the Maps page itself.
Service-area businesses without a visible address sometimes have no Place ID, and a moved or merged listing can get new identifiers. If “Test” does not open your business, copy a fresh share link from Google Maps and run it again.
No. Google's policy forbids incentives such as discounts, gifts or prize draws in exchange for a review, and asking only happy customers (“review gating”). Ask every customer, neutrally, and don't ask for a particular star rating. Violations can lead to deleted reviews or a temporary stop for new ones.
No. What you enter is processed for this one request and not saved. Only short links leave the server — to Google's own redirect service, to read where they point. A name you type for suggestions goes from this server to Google Maps (Places API), without your IP address.
