    About the LocalBusiness Schema Generator

The LocalBusiness Schema Generator builds valid JSON-LD for your business: the type (55 to choose from, from bakery to roofer), address, coordinates, phone, opening hours including lunch breaks, price range, social profiles, service area and — for restaurants — cuisine and menu. Days with the same hours are merged automatically, and empty fields are left out.

The output follows Google's guidelines for local business structured data and is checked live: missing required fields and common mistakes — a phone number without country code, coordinates with too few decimals — are flagged right away. Get the Maps link for hasMap from the Place ID Finder; for other schema types use the Schema Markup Generator.

Structured data in JSON-LD format that hands search engines your business details in machine-readable form: type, name, address, coordinates, phone number, opening hours and profiles. Google uses it to understand business information, and AI assistants read it too.

Anywhere in the HTML of your homepage or contact page, usually in the head. In WordPress, use a header-scripts plugin or your SEO plugin's custom schema field; most site builders have a field for custom code.

No. The Business Profile is what appears in Google Maps and the local results. Schema on your website complements it — write name, address and phone number exactly the same way in both places.

Better not. Google shows review stars from structured data only for sites that collect reviews about other businesses; ratings of your own business (“self-serving reviews”) are not eligible. That is why this generator leaves aggregateRating out.

The most specific one that fits — Bakery rather than LocalBusiness, Dentist rather than a general medical business. If nothing fits, LocalBusiness is always valid.

Paste the code into Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema Markup Validator (links below the code). Once it is online, you can test the page URL directly.
